Kari Magill serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Rowley Properties, a family-run real estate management and development enterprise based in Issaquah, WA. As a third-generation leader from the Rowley family, Kari has upheld the company’s longstanding reputation for visionary leadership and community stewardship. Rowley Properties, under Kari’s helm, manages a vast portfolio of real estate along I-90 in Issaquah, which encompasses 63 diverse buildings across approximately 80 acres, catering to commercial, residential, retail, and various other sectors.

With nearly a million square feet of space under management, the company provides a nurturing platform for around 900 tenants, many of whom are burgeoning entrepreneurs. Kari’s journey began post her academic tenure at the University of Washington, transitioning from industrial engineering roles at Procter and Gamble and Physio-Control to the family real estate business in 1993, eventually ascending to the CEO position in 2007. Her multifaceted background has equipped her with a unique perspective in enhancing building operations and community building, which was significantly highlighted when she navigated a 30-year development agreement with the city to foster a more livable, walkable community in line with the Cascade Agenda principles.

In addition to her professional commitments, Kari is deeply invested in community service, having served on several boards and committees, including the Issaquah and Bellevue Chambers of Commerce, Eastside Baby Corner, and the East King County Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition. Currently, she is active on the Eastside Business Alliance, various committees of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and the board of the Eastside Community Development Fund. Her leadership acumen has garnered recognitions such as the “40 Under 40” honor by the Puget Sound Business Journal and being named a 2019 Woman of Influence. Moreover, under her stewardship, Rowley Properties was honored as the Legacy Family Business of the Year in 2018 by 425 Business Magazine and the Small Family Business of the Year in 2019 by Seattle Business Magazine. Through a blend of business ingenuity, community engagement, and a legacy of family values, Kari Magill continues to contribute significantly to the real estate landscape and the broader community, embodying a rich tradition of creating meaningful spaces and fostering local entrepreneurship.
